Honda C71 1960

An extremely rare, original example of the Honda Dream C71. This was the model that put Honda Motorcycles on the map, no longer the but of jokes, this was a technological masterpiece for that period, and aimed unashamedly at the North American market.
As if it were not enough to produce a twin cylinder 250 with overhead camshaft valve operation, Honda also added a reliable electric starter!
It and its successors, the C72 and CB72 Hawks, along with the 305cc versions proved not only reliable and fast, but encouraged a complete new type of motorcyclist, with it's quiet user friendly nature, and little danger of oil leaks spoiling the riders clothes!
As the Honda sales pitch at that time said 'you meet the nicest people on a Honda'!
So buy a piece of Honda history, original bikes like this do not come along every day.
