Hi everytbody. I am new to the sight and came here as a proud new owner of somebody elses PROBLEM CHILD.
I bought an 83 FT500 Ascot, that seemed to run great until I got it home and there was oil pouring from the base of the cylinder head.
I found Western Hills Honda/Yamaha in Ohio,USA for the complete "now discontinued" TOP END gasket set, but when I disassembled the bike to replace it I forgot to mark the cam and now i am afraid to reassemble without the service manual for timing mark guidance.
We all know that bending valves because of being out is a #$%#.

So, is there anyone out there with an 82-83 HONDA FT500 Ascot series service manual that would be willing to email,Fax or send via postal mail me the section from there book.

I will cover any and all costs.
