Classic Honda Forum - Tech corner : gl1000 exhaust

I have a 1979 Honda Goldwing GL 1000.
I was told it is nearly impossible to find OEM exhaust system for this bike and that all the after market systems are junk. I would really like to put a new system on my bike but don't want to waste my money.
I would appreciate any advise on a reliable replacement system.
Thanks

Hi, I'm not sure if this is the same model as your bike, but I think CMS has the original exhaust available. Check the exhaust partslist through this page:
