Greetings. I am an owner of a 1978 Honda Hawk (CB400A) Hondamatic, (orange). Other than the headlight, tires and battery, it is pretty much all original. Has seen a few spills by the previous owner (my in-laws), but is in pretty good condition. Only issues I have are mechanical from it sitting unused for most of the last 15 or so years.
I joined the forums to get hints and tips from other enthusiasts for getting parts and doing self repairs. I have managed to pick up a good understanding of everything I have ever put my hands too, and mechanics is a new thing for me, so I will need some mentorship.
My dad was a major Honda and Suzuki enthusiast back in the 60s and 70s, but stopped playing with them back in the early 80s. Now I wish I lived closer to him and that he had experience with this bike.
So, hopefully I can find some good enthusiasts on here.
