Hi, I am new to this site and just purchased a CB 400T1 Hawk to restore. I have done a little research on how many variations this bike came in as far as colours. So far all I can find is blue and orange/red variations for 1978. I find this very odd because the original paint on mine is light grey. I decided to keep it this colour when I painted the tank.
Does anyone out there have an explanation for my colour.
I know what you mean.
Just bought a 78 CB400TII for the same reason, and I can find NO ONE to share info with.
Now, I also have a VStar 1100 Classic, and that community is outstanding. http://forums.delphiforums.com/yamaha1100
But in over a month, the Honda site has not had a single post.

I probably joined long ago... LOL! (Now, confirmed.)
Good site, CMS, in some things.
I do a 175 list, and got most of my history from it.
