1. What paint was used to give the silver finish on engines in the mid 70's and what is the best product to buy now to re-paint it?

2. Why is it so difficult to find a replacement left crankcase cover - if anybody out there's got one please let me know!

3. The model is either a '75 or '76 but the serial number on the frame has suffered a bit over the years and is now illegable. The engine number is XR75E-313562 - again can anybody help put the exact year to this number?
