Im in the market for my first bike and am considering a 1987 Shadow 1100c. the stats are as follows according to the current owner-77k miles on it. Runs well with like new tires, new battery, rebuilt carbs.

Im interested in any and all advice or comments on this model. I am concerned about how it might handle at highway speeds with only 4 speeds as well as what kind of maintanance I could expect with in the first years and of course what a fair asking price woulkd be for it with all information considered.
