My 1969 CL350 shifts fine from 1st to 2nd gear but will not go into 3rd or higher. If it does shift to 3rd if often slips out of gear. Any clue of what to diagnose my problem please? Also, could I use transmission parts from a 71' or 72' CL350 or CB350 motor? I am not sure if the parts are swappable from one years engine to the next and I don't want to buy a motor with parts I cannot use. Thanks for any info! It is greatly appreciated. This is my first vintage bike. I am not much of a mechanic but willing to learn and hope to spend the next few months getting this bike dialed in.
