cylinder stud o ring

Subject: cylinder stud o ring

have a oil leak thats seems to be running from a cylinder stud, is there an o rinr in the base of the cylinder stud too stop this.
I had the casings chemically dipped and if the acid perished the o ring thats why oil is leaking, cannot find a part number, help robin.
