The tensioner is ok. I use in my K2 Hondamatic crank with Gl1000 gear sprocket and hy-vo chain. The tensioner works well with original tensioner.

I only wanted original parts for my engine rebuild and didn't want to take any chances with repro parts as they can't easily be changed and would cause damage to my engine should they fail.
So far there hasn't been any problems.
