Apply some light grease to the bearing surface when installing this Side-Stand Bolt.
Adding a new nut and washer, even perhaps a new return spring would complete the job beautifully.

The screw was inexpensive and makes the bike look a whole lot better. As we know when you restore a bike its the little things like new screws and bolts that make the difference.
