Subject: Lost key I lost my one and only key. Is it possible to get a new key made from the VIN? If not, where can I look for info on removing the ignition switch? Locksmiths have told me they can make a new key if I can bring them the switch. Problem is that neither the web nor my Clymers manual give any info regarding the removal\replacement of the ignition switch, I'd guess for security reasons(?). I'm looking forward to any good leads on the topic, it's already the middle of september, not many nice days left to ride! reply to this |
