Honda CA50 JAZZ

Launched in 1986, the other Honda that used the name Jazz, they also produce a car of that name, this 50cc cruiser put out a rather lack lustre 4bhp @ 7500rpm. It’s weight and low centre of gravity make it a reasonable learner bike, and in Japan at least has been an ongoing success, with the small cruiser format being very popular with young riders wishing to improve their image. It is fair to say in Europe sales were never particularly high, but now has some status to collectors of Honda 50’s and their variants, and it’s styling is certainly distinctive, and not unpleasant. Of course the real world virtues of Honda build quality remain intact, perhaps the most important factor for Honda enthusiasts?
