The Company

With over 4.3 million products to choose from, CMS today has a growing customer base in excess of 200.000, including both trade business's and private individuals. The Company dispatches more than 50,000 shipments a year with a team of eighteen people.

CMS sources parts from more than 500 suppliers, and an incredible 90% of customer orders are shipped within 5 days!

CMS simplifies the often complex process of buying motorcycle, car and other related spares and accessories. With our on-line schematics, and high resolution images, CMS customers, wherever they are in the world, and even those with little technical knowledge, can easily find the parts they require.
CMS's recently introduced format which took two years of development, has taken the process of on-line parts purchasing to another level altogether. CMS has spared no expense and have done everything in its power to offer the finest on-line experience for searching, viewing and browsing Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki and Suzuki spares.
As well as essential spares, CMS also offers high quality custom and tuning accessories from top Japanese manufacturing and engineering companies. These include: Over racing, G-Craft, Kitaco, Daytona and Takegawa.
With ongoing, proactive purchasing of large stock inventories CMS constantly adds new parts, and in many cases, parts that were hitherto unavailable, to its already considerable stock list.

Where possible, when a popular line of parts are discontinued by the manufacturer, CMS contacts the original supplier (or other manufacturers employing equally high Japanese quality control standards). CMS then has the tooling made to produce the part or parts concerned to original, or better than original, standard.

This is CMS' commitment to our customers as a 'can do' company!

History

CMS was established from one persons desire, to change the way motorcycle enthusiasts shop for those essential and often difficult to locate spare parts. Founder and CEO of Consolidated Motor Spares, Mike Buttinger, cut his first deal at the tender age of just eleven years, with a Tomos moped bought as a basket case, rebuilt and then sold on. Wages from a delivery round allowed Mike to move up to a Honda C310, an early 'sporting ' classic step-through; his first experience of both Honda and four-stroke engineering principals. The Honda bug had bitten!
From supplying and fitting C50 spares and tuning accessories as a teenager for local young riders, to buying inventories of NOS Honda spares, Mike went on a journey that culminated in the establishment of CMS in 1996. Since that time the Company, with a huge effort from Mike and the CMS team, has grown into the technical tour de force it is today.

The CMS website

The CMS web site broke new ground when launched in 2004, using schematics and part number searches to enable our customers to find required parts quickly and easily.
In the following eight years advancements in information technology has moved on apace - technology which CMS has embraced and expanded over the two years it took their technical team to develop the latest website, launched in April 2012.
As well as adding thousands of new parts, customers can now intuitively navigate to their chosen machine in a number of new and exciting ways - in many instances the machine model type can be found by simply entering the VIN number - a simple one step process!
The new website is enhanced with over 500.000 images, with a further 85,000 being added every year which means hundreds more every day!

CMS is dedicated to maximising customer satisfaction; from quickly and easily finding the part required to the final checkout using the many tools available, including key word search, search by part number, search by model and search by VIN number. Finally you can park your vehicle with an image to show other enthusiasts what you own!

CMS is an independent supplier of spare parts and has no commercial link with Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha or Kawasaki.
