Nut,8mm 1988 N1: Kx80 (north America)
All fasteners involved with the cylinder head/ barrel attachment have considerable amounts of torque applied causing the threads to stretch slightly especially when part of the cylinder and cylinder head assembly. This is normal, but does mean that it is far better to discard the old nuts and bolts and replace with new genuine Kawasaki parts. They not only look better they will torque up exactly the same as the originals.
We recommend you replace the complete fastener assemblies with genuine Kawasaki parts for perfect results
