What are Superseded Parts?
Honda, over time, has superseded old parts for new ones. The main reason for this is to improve quality!
However, we are aware some enthusiasts will not be satisfied with any superseded items. Please notify us directly when you have placed an order and you do not want any superseded items. Please note this will limit your self greatly in availability.

One can also recognise a superseded item in the search engine when the item you keyed in has a part number as the description. For example, the description for 61100-300-030XW shows 61100-300-040XW.
It is most likely this is the part you will get if ordered.
Basically, all superseded items are in accordance with the specifications of the original item it was superseded from. You might expect some minor differences in detail though. |
